The RITHM loudspeaker is the first model in the Davone line, and a bit of a legend in its own right. Designer Paul Schenkel truly changed the dialogue when he introduced this seductively-curved beauty into the world. It’s demur walnut bent-ply cabinet arches elegantly, it’s modernist “dot” grille cloth accenting the design’s inspired flow, it’s “en-pointe” toe reminiscent of the delicate strength of a prima-ballerina. Truly a compliment to finely appointed living and social spaces.
Within, a moderately-sized coaxial loudspeaker driver ensures wonderfully coherent sound, three-dimensional music projections, and a surprising amount of bass for such a petit loudspeaker. Like a Stradivarius, Rithm delightfully conveys music’s blossoming beauty with the delicate control of a fine instrument.
